Took a little cruise on the electric scooter today. It’s exceptionally fine autumn weather and who knows when I’ll have another chance?
This area of the city is pretty high-class for Chinese standards. There are a lot of public and governmental buildings with in between them apartment parks featuring tree-lined streets.
When we were still living in the high-rise apartment a little outside our campus, we could always see an open area with trees and grass across a highway close to us. I drove over there to take a look and it turns out to be a golf course.
