We now know how to arrange everything about the marriage and my ‘conversion’ to Islam. That last bit, by the way, is needed for being able to travel to Iran and visit Bella’s parents.
We can get married in the Netherlands, go to a mosque, convert and get married again there, and then finally go to the Iranian embassy to get a certificate legalizing everything for the Iranian state.
It’s all a bit of a pain in the ass, but necessary.
