For the first time in ages I have an eight-hour workday again. It’s still not quite like home, though; four hours in the morning, two in the afternoon, two in the evening.
At the start of the year the university had military training. That caused us to miss a few lessons. Then the swine flu hit and we missed a few more. For the past few weeks now, students have been coming up to me after class to tell me that their English grammar teacher asked me to cover a few classes.
That’s three extra this week, and at least one next week. Not very bad, although they all have to happen in the evenings, which makes them a bit annoying. Especially now that Mahkam and I want to follow dancing classes. I’ve already had to cancel one.
